I am a proud alumni of both St. Francis Xavier University and Memorial University. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from St. FX and received my Bachelor of Education from Memorial. I take great pleasure in teaching math, chemistry and physics, but enjoy working with students on all subjects. I have been teaching/tutoring for almost ten years. I spent my first year of teaching in England. I then moved back home and spent 3 years working at PALS in Sussex. I have recently started my Masters in Resource and Special Education with hopes of expanding my teaching strategies and abilities with all age groups.
I love sports. I am a huge Blue Jays fan and quite often will receive a dirty look from my wife for always occupying the TV to watch the Blue Jays or any other sport. A common presence during tutoring sessions is our dogs, Juneau and Louie. They are lovers of all people and may trick you into a belly rub.
It's great to be back involved with my home community! Since graduating high school, I have obtained a Bachelor of Science with a major in Marine Biology and a minor in Chemistry from UNB. I then spent a couple years doing biology work with east coast fisheries. I returned to school and graduated with a Bachelor of Education from St. Thomas University. Once I completed my BEd, I ventured to nothern Quebec where I was a Resource and Mathematics teacher.
Now that I am home, I am doing supply work and tutoring. I have also started course work towards obtaining a Masters in Resource and Special Education.
